EXPO Milano
Milan, Italy

Responding to Milan Expo 2015 theme of ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’, Japan presented its National pavilion as a showcase of its food culture as sustainable and balanced. Designed by architect Atsushi Kitagawara, the pavilion contained installations by the high profile Japanese creative collective nendo and their Italian partner TP/A.

Under the theme of “Harmonious Diversity,” the exhibitions showcased Japan’s traditional culinary culture, as well as its agricultural, forestry and fishery industries.
