LUXURY CONDOMINIUM / TOKYO

In 2007, Time Power Architect was requested to design an urban building complex with living units and public spaces to provide for short, medium and long term living situations – the location(s) are currently non disclosable due to the clients’ request.

The building is conceived as a ‘living machine’, with numerous proposals to reduce energy usage and in some locales, even produce more energy than consumption. Systems include rain and freshwater collectors, vertical air exchange (for purification of air and for active hot7cold air exchange integrated with the air-conditioning system and various greenhouse located throughout the project). Roof gardens are conceived to stabilize temperature control, and are integrated into active bokashi ‘structural ducts’ running vertically throughout various buildings.
