This residential project spans four floors of an 18th century villa.
All 4 floors of the palazzo have been gutted and restructured. On
the top two floors is a very large, elegant but simple residence for
a single male. Custom stairs, doors and suspended bridges have been
handmade in stainless steel, aluminum and glass. All floor surfaces
were handmade in ‘seminato’ by Italy’s most renowned
supplier of this traditional technique. The lower two floors contain
rental and service quarters. The restructuring interventions included
a parking structure, the villa’s exterior, and the garden. |
